Itinerary:
Day 1 : Welcome on arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport by a Sunway Holiday representative and transfer to Colombo. Relax during the day. Stay overnight in a hotel in Colombo.
Day 2 : After breakfast drive to Kandy. Visit the elephant orphanage in Pinnawela. See the elephants in nature, being fed, working & bathing in the nearby river. Ride on an elephant. Visit a spice garden to see different spices, and how some of these spices are grown and processed. Make a sightseeing tour of Kandy. Visit the upper lake drive, the Kandy Lake & the Market area. Visit the botanical gardens in Peradeniya. In the evening see a show of cultural performances. Stay overnight in a hotel in Kandy.
Day 3 : Breakfast at hotel, visit the temple of the tooth & leave for Nuwara eliya, known as “Little England”. See the mountains covered with tea bushes and cascading waterfalls. En route visit a tea factory and a plantation to see the tea manufacturing process. Enjoy a freshly brewed cup of tea. Evening make the city tour of Nuwara eliya. Stay overnight at hotel in Nuwara eliya.
Day 4 : Breakfast at hotel & leave for the south-west coast of Sri Lanka. Travel through a beautiful landscape & see the widest waterfall of Sri Lanka, “St. Clair”. Enjoy the rich nature. Make a brief stop at the Tea Kiosk passing the “Devon” waterfall. Drive through Kithulgala where the Oscar winning movie “Bridge on the River Kwai” was filmed. Make a visit to a rubber plantation. See the rubber manufacturing process. For those who love adventure, (optional) white water rafting could be arranged at Kitulgala, down river Kelani, Sri Lanka’s second largest. Stay overnight at Hotel in South West Coast Beach.
Day 5 : Breakfast at the hotel. Morning relax. In the afternoon leave for Colombo. Make a sightseeing tour of Colombo, which includes Fort, Pettah, Sea Street and the Town Hall etc. Discover the city & explore the shopping malls, such as House of Fashion, Odel, Arena, etc. Night life lovers visit Casinos, Discos etc & enjoy Colombo’s entertainment and nightlife. Stay overnight at Hotel in Colombo.
Day 6 : Breakfast & departure transfer to the airport for your onward flight

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please Note:
The rates quoted above are based on the mentioned hotels.
The above rates are net and include government taxes (VAT, TDL & NBT) totaling to 15%.
These rates are subject to change without prior notice in the event government changes the tax policy, or if the hotels change their rates, or for situations beyond our control.
These rates are applicable for tour operators/travel agents working exclusively with us, in Sri Lanka.
All hotel classifications are as per Sunway Holidays classifications.
Confirmation of hotels will be subject to availability at the time of final confirmation.
Meal plan will be on booked basis.
Half Board will be from arrival day dinner to departure day breakfast
Full Board will be from arrival day lunch to departure day breakfast
Other Conditions:
Optional excursions and additional services could be provided for which we will charge additionally.
Visits to wild life parks, adventure activities, etc will be at client's own risk.
Payment by credit cards will be subject to 3% bank charges
Cancellation charges (Sri Lanka):
Within 07 - 00 days - 100% cancellation charge.
Within 14 - 08 days - 75% cancellation charge.
Within 21-15 days - 50% cancellation charge.
Children Policy
Below 2 Years – On complementary basis.
Age between 2 – 12 – With Extra Bed - Will Pay 50% of adult rate (when sharing room with parents).
Age between 2 – 12 – Without Extra Bed - Will Pay 25% of adult rate (when sharing room with parents).
Peak Period Supplement
For stays from 16th December to 15th January (Including both days) – Supplements apply
24th Dec & 31st Dec – Dinner compulsory & an extra supplement for dinner is payable
Hotel Rules & Regulations:
The official check-in time at all hotels will be 1200hrs.
The official check-out time at all hotels will be 1100hrs.
Early check- in / late check-out subject to availability from hotel
Cancellation policy will be applicable for any reduction of rooms after the release period.
Visas:
At present visas for nationals of 77 countries will be given free of charge on arrival at the Colombo International Airport which is valid for 30 days. However from 1stJanuary 2012 a pre applied visa will come into effect. For further details, visit http://www.eta.gov.lk/
Airport Tax:
Cost of Airport tax is included to the flight ticket. However, this could differ for Charter flights.
